Why We Have Rules

In this unit, the students will investigate rules. They will identify different types of rules that influence their own lives, such as class, school, house, game and road rules. The students will develop an understanding of the reasons why these rules are in place. They will identify the people/groups who design particular sets of rules. The students will understand the role of police officers in upholding rules in our community. They will listen to a visiting police officer.
